Throwing it Back to 2016 📸

If you’ve been on social media lately, you’ve probably spotted the trend – everyone sharing their 2016 throwback photos. Old phones, old hairstyles, and plenty of “wow, a lot has changed” moments.

Seeing where everyone was a decade ago is fun, but it also made us stop and think about where we were at that point.

Back in 2016, life looked very different for us.

We only had Luke, who was still a toddler, and we were working alongside Matt’s parents in the construction industry. It was the year before Clear Property Inspections officially came to life – full of ideas, long conversations, and no real clue how busy things were about to get.👇🏼

Nine Years in Business. Twenty-Three Years of Experience.

While Clear Property Inspections has now been around for nine years, our roots in this industry go back 23 years. And in that time, we’ve seen everything Florida can throw at a home.

When we first started, most of our work was insurance-led. Insurance carriers called, claims came in, and the system felt familiar and predictable.

Then Florida did what Florida does best… and everything changed.

Insurance carriers pulled back. Some left the state entirely. Others froze policies or stopped offering coverage altogether. Suddenly, the industry we knew looked very different – and we had a choice: stay stuck, or evolve.

Today, our focus is much more direct-to-consumer. We work directly with homeowners, tenants, business owners, and property professionals who want real answers, not red tape or reports that leave them more confused than when they started.

What hasn’t changed?

Despite all the changes, some things are exactly the same.

✔️Our love for this industry hasn’t changed.
✔️Our commitment to helping people hasn’t changed.

At the end of the day, it’s still about making sure people feel safe, informed, and confident in their homes – whether the issue is big, small, or hiding somewhere behind a wall.

It’s busy, it’s loud, it’s full – and we wouldn’t trade it for anything.
